Terms of Service
HowToFix sells metered access to AI models through one dashboard and one API host. By creating an account or calling the API you accept these terms.
The service
You get an account, API tokens, usage records, and routing to the models listed in the console. The dashboard is https://howtofix.id; the API base is https://api.howtofix.id/v1. Availability of any model depends on upstream providers. HowToFix does not guarantee that a listed model stays available, keeps the same price, or returns a particular quality of output.
Accounts
- One account per person. Each account needs a Gmail address verified through Google, and each Gmail can open one account.
- Sign-up requires the human check. Automated sign-ups, scripted solving of the check, and creating accounts in bulk are forbidden.
- You are responsible for everything done with your account and your tokens.
- Treat tokens as secrets. If a token leaks, revoke it in the console.
Acceptable use
- No attempts to break, scrape, or overload the gateway or upstream providers.
- No use of the API to attack other systems, harvest credentials, or produce unlawful content.
- No resale of access that hides HowToFix as the source unless the operator agreed in writing.
- The operator may suspend accounts that break these rules, burn quota abnormally, or fail payment.
Balance, prices, refunds
Balance and the prices shown in the console at the time of a request are what that request costs. A call that fails upstream may still use balance if the gateway already accepted the work. Refunds are at the operator's discretion unless local consumer law says otherwise.
Model output
Output is generated by third-party models. It can be wrong, biased, or infringing. You are responsible for how you use it; HowToFix is not liable for decisions made on it.
Software
The hosted gateway includes open-source software under AGPL-3.0 and other licenses. These terms govern the hosted service, not the licenses of that code.
Liability
The service is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, HowToFix is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damage. Where a court requires a cap, it is the amount you paid in the thirty days before the claim.
Changes and contact
Material changes are posted on this page with a new effective date; continued use after that date is acceptance. Contact the operator through the console if you have an account.
